Request Indexing in Google Search Console

Follow these steps to tell Google to crawl and index a page on your site so it shows up in search results faster.

   Open Google Search Console

   Go to search.google.com/search-console and sign in with the Google account that owns your verified property.

   Select your property

   In the top-left dropdown, pick https://waterpumpstechnics.co.za. If you don't see it, the domain hasn't been verified yet.

   Find the URL Inspection tool

   At the very top of the page, click the search bar labelled "Inspect any URL in …".

   Paste the page URL

   Paste the full URL of the page you want indexed (for example https://waterpumpstechnics.co.za/) and press Enter. Google will check its index.

   Click 'Request Indexing'

   After the inspection finishes, click "Request Indexing". Google runs a quick live test (about a minute) and then adds your page to its crawl queue.

   Repeat for each important page

   Submit the homepage first, then each key page (services, about, contact). There's a daily quota — about 10–12 manual requests per day per property.

   Submit your sitemap (one-time)

   In the left menu click Sitemaps, enter sitemap.xml and click Submit. This helps Google discover new pages automatically going forward.

   Wait for indexing

   Indexing typically takes anywhere from a few hours to a few days. You can re-inspect the URL later to confirm it shows "URL is on Google".
